Installing Korean Support in Ubuntu 12.04


  1. System Settings > Language Support > "Install/Remove Languages" and add Korean
  2. Dashboard > type "ibus" to start daemon
  3. Go into ibus preferences and add "Korean" in "Input Method" tab
  4. Ctrl-Space to switch between Korean and English should work
